Markus Aspelmeyer received the 2025 MCQST Distinguished Lecturer Award from the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology, in recognition of his scientific achievements in quantum science and his commitment to communicating the field to a broader public. The award brought him to Munich for three lectures from 30 June to 2 July 2025: a public talk at the Deutsches Museum, an MCQST Colloquium, and a specialised seminar.
